Must Do’s For Tourists in Seychelles

Bit of a mouthful, I know. But trust me; this post is worth your time if you are thinking about traveling to Seychelles. Planning a Seychelles Trip has become infinitely easier with OiO Travel Pvt. Ltd., in Delhi. Book our best and exclusive Seychelles Holiday Packages which is a dream of all tourists.

Did you know that Seychelles has about 115 beaches? And every one of them offers something different. The shores here are lined with palm trees, white sand, and tropical fish. But this is just the beginning…

The islands are located off the African coast and are a great destination for divers and snorkellers. You can explore more than 60 miles of coral reefs and more than 1,000 species of fish. If you’re not a diver or snorkeller (maybe one day you will be?!) there is no need to worry – the island still has plenty to offer!

For those that like something a little different, then perhaps paragliding is right up your street? You can take control of your own speed and height as you glide over the stunning views.

And if you fancy staying on land, then something like snorkeling or diving is a great way to spend an afternoon. Head out to Blue Lagoon for great snorkeling straight off the beach. Or take a trip to one of the many waterfalls, for a unique experience.

Seychelles has plenty of other things to see and do too – including visiting Stanley’s natural wonder, an archipelago made up of over 600 uninhabited islands. If you are interested in whale watching, then you must make your way here! The whale season here is from September until February. The local islands are home to several species of whale, including the Minke whale. You can also view humpback whales and sperm whales on a tour of the islands – just make sure you book in advance!

If you are looking for something more traditional, then there is no shortage of activities on offer. The Big Five Safari is one of the most popular activities here. Find yourself gazing upon elephants, giraffes, hippo or rhinos as they move through your site.

And if you are looking for a little bit of romance, then why not go on a sunset cruise? You can view the ship as it sails away from the island as the sun goes down, leaving a pink hue over the sky.

If you are looking for something a little more unusual, then how about going on an excursion to one of the active volcanoes? The Piton de la Fournaise is well worth a visit! Or you can take a trip to see fragrant flowers and fragrant trees at Marigot Bay Botanical Gardens.

One of the most popular activities here is definitely hiking. You can take a hike up the Morne – a mountain that offers some incredible views. But there is one problem…the mountain is very steep.

But if this is something you’re up for, then you will be rewarded with some fantastic sights at the top. You can see many of the surrounding islands from here – a wonderful sight! This hike will take around an hour and a half, so be prepared!

And, on top of all this, there are plenty of other activities on offer here. Traditional dance shows are on offer, as well as music shows and concerts taking place throughout the year.
